Product case study

01

A connected training product, not only a course generator

AttainIQ is designed to take an organisation from source material to a complete training workflow. Policies, SOPs, handbooks and internal know-how can become structured courses, modules, lessons, assessments and supporting resources; teams can then edit the output, assign learning, export LMS-ready SCORM packages and review learner progress and evidence.

02

AI that supports the training workflow

The AI layer is built around structured, editable first drafts rather than one-click, black-box output. It uses source context, audience, goals and desired outcomes to generate course structures, lesson content, practical examples, quizzes, resource guidance and visual prompts. It can also assist with individual lesson or block refinements, alternative learning outputs, microlearning, coaching nudges, video-content extraction and optional AI-generated imagery.

03

Full SaaS platform and backend

Jason designed and built the product across the customer-facing experience and the operational platform behind it: a full backend, content management system, role-aware admin controls, authentication, user and team management, learner seats, training libraries, usage/credit controls and subscription workflows. The CMS lets authorised users manage website and product content without code, while admin controls provide the governance needed for a multi-user training platform.

04

Technology and platform architecture

The application uses React 19 and TypeScript on a Vite front end, with an Express server providing authenticated API endpoints and server-side AI orchestration. Firebase Authentication and Firestore support identity and persistent product data; Google Cloud services support the deployed runtime and private assets; Stripe handles subscription billing. Gemini is called server-side through the Google GenAI SDK, keeping provider credentials out of the browser while enabling validation, retry behaviour, credit controls and structured responses.

05

Learning delivery and insight

Beyond authoring, AttainIQ includes browser-based learner delivery, resource packs, coaching nudges, microlearning, team administration and learner analytics. Courses can be packaged as SCORM 1.2 ZIP files for LMS delivery, while the platform can surface completion, scores, progress and follow-up signals for the organisation.
